Our History
Like many great business stories, Insurance Force grew from humble beginnings. Seeing a need for stronger workforce support in the industry, Ryan Stangle created the company in 2005.
Armed only with a laptop and his dreams, he started the company in his small home in Annapolis. He named the company Chesapeake Benefits, Inc.
The business community quickly responded to the company’s unique vision. As demand for stronger workforce support grew, so did the company, adding its first employees and commercial office space in 2007. The company has since outgrown two office spaces and today operates from its office in Eastport, Maryland, overlooking the Chesapeake Bay.
The company has not only expanded in size, but in the services it offers as well, adding a breadth of HR support services to its robust insurance and employee benefits solutions in 2011. Spurred by the incredible growth, Chesapeake Benefits, Inc. changed its name to Insurance Force in 2012. I loved the name Chesapeake Benefits, Inc. and I am very proud of what we accomplished, Stangle explained. But as we grow and expand, we need name that can grow with us and communicate that we are a leader in the industry.
As the client base continued to grow, requests for property & casualty insurance assistance swelled. They wanted the same level of dedication and customer service for their business insurance needs as they received for their employee benefits program. In 2012 the Risk Management Division was added, offering property & casualty insurance through several insurance carriers
